We love creative projects! We recently made a shade sail that looks like a giant leaf being eaten by a cute caterpillar for a forest learning centre in London. This was to teach children who live in high rise blocks all about the birds and bees.
One of our talented seamstresses made the caterpillar, who was named Hannah in her honour by our client!
Whatever your requirements you need not be worried that we don’t have the imagination or ability to fulfil your dreams. Jeckells the Sailmakers is run by forward thinking individuals, some of whom have a background in the creative & design industry. We love a challenge and will always do our best to match up your dreams with reality, although we’ll always make sure that safety of the installation is a priority!
Tell us what you’re trying to achieve and, ideally, send us photos of where you’re looking to install together with you ‘big idea’ and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re able with further thoughts and an indication of budget. In the example above we were working within a forest environment where it was important that anything we installed didn’t impact on the environment. We used our special tree harnesses to attach the sail to the trees for this reason.
If you’re just looking for us to match up logo colours and/or personalise your sail this is possible too within the confines of the colour selection for the fabric we recommend for your project.
